I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #012552) in the state of Georgia. I have my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Richmont Graduate University and have been a private practice therapist since 2017. Prior to working in private practice , I gained experience as an intern in the outpatient program of Peachford Hospital.

I practice primarily within a Psychodynamic and Interpersonal framework. I believe our earliest relationships and experiences inform how we engage one another. This means much of our work is exploring the implicit and explicit messages that guide how we relate as adults. If you have found yourself dissatisfied or confused by the complexity of your relationships then exploring these dynamics with me will be a good place to start. We have all been wounded in relationship - therapy is often the starting point of experiencing healing in a relational context with me, your therapist, while learning how to integrate this healing in your life outside of the room. These waypoints are helpful in our early exploration but are not prescriptive - my goal is to join with you in your journey, exactly where you are, discovering the parts of yourself previously inaccessible or difficult to face. My personal faith is a core component to how I approach healing, and I am able to integrate a client’s faith as they desire and make their own meaning.

I have experience working with individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, family of origin issues/stress, addiction, and sexual dysfunction.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the non-profit and international development space. I have always found a lot of satisfaction in connecting people to purpose. It was through my own journey in therapy that I realized the sacred space of naming difficult things and learning to connect to the parts of myself I find most challenging to accept.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time outdoors, all things football (soccer), and traveling with my wife of 12 years and our three kids.
